We must validate your identity in terms of the requirements of the Australian Government's Financial Transaction Reports Act 1988.
Documents provided as proof of identity must be either originals or certified copies of the originals. All documents must be in the same name under which you wish to operate your accounts. Following are examples of acceptable documents.
Adults 18 years or over
- Photo Drivers' Licence issued by a State or Territory or NSW Photo ID Card
- Current Passport and one of the following:
- Confirmation from Employer, Mortgage documents, Council rates notice
- Plastic card (e.g. ATM, Medicare, Library); passbook
Juniors under 18 years
- NSW Photo ID Card
- Birth certificate
- Letter from school principal on official letterhead confirming enrolment
